The truth, signs I received from the universe, and the magical crystals that guide my sobriety.

In July 2020 I purchased This Naked Mind: Control Alcohol, Find Freedom, Dsicover Happiness and Change Your Life by Annie Grace. Annie takes you on a journey of self-discovery through examining the reasons you drink and any ways you may feel it’s contributing to your life in a positive way. She debunks all these myths with the truth: that society has only made us feel alcohol is fun and necessary, but it never did us any good and we have way more fun without it.

Society brainwashed us into thinking we enjoyed alcohol and somehow Annie reconditioned my unconscious thoughts to knowing that it’s poison, foolish and only detrimental to my life, happiness and wellbeing.

Her arguments are interesting because she doesn’t say the problem is within US (that we are at fault for not being able to control ourselves), but that the problem is with the alcohol itself, a highly addictive and destructive drug.

Still, Annie encouraged me to continue drinking while reading her book. I listened. Annie promises that you won’t even want to drink when you finish reading her book. The best part: you don’t even have to believe her! Have all the doubts you want to have about her magic, but it will still work.
